Service Terms in New Mexico

Last Updated: 10/25/2026

What Pest Control Work These Terms Cover

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to pest control work New Mexico Pest Pros agrees to perform at the property listed in your estimate or service record. Depending on the written scope, work may include inspection, treatment, monitoring, or recommendations for common pests.

Exclusions, access needs, preparation steps, and any follow-up visit should be confirmed before service. Repairs, exclusion construction, cleanup, wildlife removal, and work outside the stated scope require a separate agreement.

We use pesticide products according to their labels and applicable law, including the New Mexico Pesticide Control Act, NMSA 1978 § 76-4, and applicator licensing rules in 21.17.50 NMAC. Federal requirements may include FIFRA and 40 CFR Part 171.

Product handling and waste disposal are subject to applicable OSHA Hazard Communication and RCRA rules. In Albuquerque, applicable labels and local rules also apply.

New Mexico Department of Agriculture, EPA, New Mexico Environment Department, and, where relevant, Bernalillo County Environmental Health Services oversee related requirements.

Booking, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit

Appointments are arranged with you and confirmed using the contact details you provide. Please make sure an adult can provide access, identify the areas of concern, and share relevant property or safety information.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as you can and before the scheduled arrival. Any cancellation charge or other consequence applies only if it was disclosed and agreed to in advance.

Weather, access problems, safety concerns, or operational needs may require us to adjust a visit. We will contact you to arrange another time when practical.

The technician will perform the work described in the accepted estimate or service record. If inspection shows that a different treatment, added area, or other work is needed, we will explain the change and request your approval before proceeding.

You may decline the added work; the original service may still be completed if it remains safe and practical. A changed appointment or scope is not confirmed until both sides agree.

Estimates, Charges, and When Payment Is Due

An estimate describes the work and charges proposed based on the information available at the time. It is not a promise to treat conditions that cannot be seen or that fall outside the written scope. The estimate or service record should identify the agreed work and payment timing. Ask us about any item you do not understand before approving the service.

Payment is due as stated in the accepted estimate, invoice, or other written agreement. We do not set additional prices or financing terms through this page.

If inspection reveals a need for added work, we will explain the proposed change and its cost, then obtain your approval before doing it. You are not required to approve an added service.

If the original work cannot reasonably be completed without the change, we can discuss a revised plan or rescheduling. Please raise billing questions promptly and include the service date and invoice details so we can review them.

What to Expect About Service Guarantees

Any warranty, retreatment commitment, or other service guarantee applies only when its terms are provided in writing for the particular job. The written terms should state what work is covered, how long coverage lasts, and how to request service. These general terms do not create a warranty period or promise a specific pest-free result.

Coverage may depend on following preparation and re-entry instructions, allowing access for agreed follow-up, and addressing conditions identified in the service record. A written guarantee may exclude untreated areas, new pest activity, structural defects, sanitation or moisture conditions, or changes made by others; the specific written terms control.

Do not assume an informal conversation changes a written warranty. Contact us if you believe covered work needs attention, and provide your service details and a description of the issue.

We will review the applicable agreement and explain the next step. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Service Expert at New Mexico Pest Pros

I started in pest control in Albuquerque, learning how adobe and stucco homes, block walls, and small entry gaps can give pests a way inside. New Mexico’s dry spells and summer monsoon rains taught me to pay close attention to seasonal shifts, especially when scorpions and other pests move toward homes.

Responsibility for Property and Service Risks

Please disclose known hazards, sensitive areas, pets, and access restrictions before treatment, and follow all product-label and technician instructions. Pesticide use must comply with applicable requirements, including the New Mexico Pesticide Control Act, NMSA 1978 § 76-4, licensing rules in 21.17.50 NMAC, and federal label and certification requirements under FIFRA and 40 CFR Part 171. Applicable OSHA hazard-communication and RCRA waste rules also govern handling and disposal.

To the extent permitted by law, New Mexico Pest Pros is not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, pest activity outside the agreed scope, or results affected by conditions beyond our control. Where the law allows, liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to that claim.

This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing here changes applicable pesticide rules or removes rights available under New Mexico or federal law.
